The Global Social Prescribing Network is an independent group of international partners from over 20 countries who meet regularly on a 6-weekly basis to exchange knowledge, share ideas and best practice.

The UK National Academy for Social Prescribing provides the secretariat and support for the Global Social Prescribing Network of international partners. Together, we hope to build a library of resources, a webinar series, an interactive digital map of social prescribing across the globe and a membership that facilitates knowledge exchange.

We are currently developing our digital interactive map, strategy plan, branding, and future direction. Watch this space and get in touch if you’d like to be involved.

Jan Joost originally trained as a tropical doctor and has an MBA and MHA. As co-chair of the Welzijn op Recept network in the Netherlands (National SP), he takes care of the healthcare sector, its training, the stakeholder management, the financing and governance of Welzijn op Recept.
